Every article explains what a feature does, when to use it and how to proceed step by step.
Promotions and tracking
- Promote an event: Base, Standard and Premium packages and other options Promote event puts a public event in the spotlight with three daily packages and five extra options (results boost, Featured badge, similar events, push notifications). Requirements, permissions, what each service does with the prices shown on the page, the procedure up to Continue and all the messages.
- Choose the period and audience of the promotion The period runs from today until the event date or is customized with a start date and a number of days in the Customize period window, even per single service; the push options are bought in blocks of 100 users in the Choose how many users to reach window. How the total is calculated, what the real push audiences are and the limits.
- Pay for and activate a promotion After Continue the payment page opens with the Payment summary, the two-hour countdown and the online methods (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal). How to pay with Pay and activate, all the outcomes, what Cancel checkout does, what you see in the dashboard after activation and what happens if the time runs out.
- The organization’s Event promotion page Event promotion sums up Promotion spend, Active promotions, Active value and Promoted events, lists the campaigns running with their active services and the public future events you can promote. How to reach it, how to read every metric and column, where Promote and Manage start from.
- Set up the Meta, TikTok and Google pixels on the event In the Tracking pixel code section of the Publish step you paste up to 2 official Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or Google tag/GTM snippets. Where it is, permissions, what is accepted or refused, which events are sent on the event page, on the reservation and on the confirmation, what server-side tracking does and when the site-wide pixel applies.
- Test the pixels and read the diagnostics The Pixel diagnostics box shows the status, the detected providers and IDs, the Server-side status per provider, the Tracking quality and Queue counters, the rows per provider and Last test; Send test event sends a test event to the server-side providers. How to read every row, the four outcomes of the test and what to do in each case.
- Create a tracking channel for promoters and campaigns With Add channel in the Sales channels section of the event dashboard you create a tracked link of type Instagram, TikTok, Newsletter, WhatsApp or Other: the reservations started from that link are attributed to the channel. Procedure, format of the link, how attribution works, columns per channel, filters in the reports and the link with ticket visibility.
- The promoter link and sales attribution Every member of the organization who has a username has a personal landing link and one link per event with the channel parameter: the reservations started from those links are attributed to their channel. Where to find the links, how attribution works, what a Promoter sees (data limited to their own channel, without full exports) and how to reserve tickets for promoters.
