Creating and editing an event
- Create a new event With Create event a draft is created and the Create or edit event guided path opens: Event page, Add tickets, Edit seat map and Publish. Permissions, autosave, controls that block publishing, what happens after sending for review and how to resume a draft.
- Fill in the event page: title, description, dates, location and FAQ The Event Page step collects images, overview in multiple languages, date and time zone, location with details, Featured Features and FAQs. - Upload images of the event Main image, square image and gallery are managed in the Add event image section of the Event page step. - Edit an already published event Changes to an approved event live in a draft (snapshot) separate from the online version until they pass a new review. - Duplicate an event With Duplicate in the Options menu you create a new draft with page, images, tickets, seat map, SIAE configuration and settings of the original event. What gets copied, what doesn't, what version is used, and what to update before publishing.
- Pause or reactivate publishing With Suspend publication, an approved event disappears from the site and is no longer reachable, without losing the approval; Enable publishing puts it back online immediately, without verification. - Delete a draft Never published drafts are deleted from the dashboard status card with Delete draft; for an event already online Clear Draft Snapshot removes only unsubmitted changes. Conditions, confirmations, what cannot be deleted and messages you may encounter.
- Exclusive editing: only one editor at a time Whoever opens a step in the editor obtains control of the event, renewed every 20 seconds and valid for 75 seconds without renewal; a second user sees the Event already being edited and can take control. - Cancel or postpone an event You handle the postponement yourself: you change the date and time in the Event page step and the change goes through verification. The definitive cancellation is carried out by Nightify at your request, together with the possible cancellation of the reservations, the email to the holders and the refunds.
