Step-by-step guide Follow, followers and messages

Manage your follow requests

With a private profile you approve or decline those who want to follow you from the Follow requests page, on the website and in the app: where the entry appears, what both parties receive and the possible messages.

If your profile is private, every new follower must be approved. You receive the New follow request notification and decide from the requests page.

At a glance

  • Where: website: My accountFollow requests (nightify.me/account/follow-requests); app: ProfileFollow requests (Approve or decline requests, with the subtitle N requests to review when there are any).
  • When the entry appears: on the website only if the profile is private or there are pending requests (next to the title a badge with the number, 9+ above nine); in the app always; on your public profile the Requests statistic also appears, which opens the Follow requests window.
  • Actions: Accept or Decline for each request.

Step by step on the website

  1. Open the requests. From My account choose Follow requests. What you see: the page with the text Approve or decline follow requests. and the list of waiting users.
  2. Decide. Press Accept or Decline on the user’s row.
  3. Read the confirmation. Request accepted.: the user becomes a follower and receives Follow request accepted; Request declined.: the request is deleted without notifying the user, who will see Follow again the next time they open your profile.

Step by step in the app

  1. Open ProfileFollow requests.
  2. Tap Accept or Decline on the row; the row disappears from the list.
