The service fee receipt is the document Nightify issues for the service fees of an order. It does not cover the ticket price or the pre-sale rights, which follow your own documentation. It can be downloaded both by the fan, from their account, and by you from the detail of the reservation.
At a glance
- Where: Reservation detail → Payment summary box → Service fee receipt row → Download service fee receipt link.
- Permissions: View organization reservation details.
- When it exists: a Confirmed order, fees charged to the fan greater than zero and a PDF already generated by the system.
- Who issues it: Nightify; at the bottom of the document: … issues this receipt for the service fees applied to reservation …. with the name of the platform and the order code.
Step by step
- Open the reservation. From Reservation management, from the Reservations report or from the Customer details page click the row of the order.
- Find the row. In the Payment summary box, below Total, look for Service fee receipt. What you see: the Download service fee receipt link; if the row is missing, the order has no receipt (see below).
- Download. Click Download service fee receipt. Result: the PDF opens in a new tab.
What the PDF contains
| Entry | What it contains | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| The Receipt header | Receipt # with the number and Receipt date. | |
| To: / From: | The fan’s details and Nightify’s details with the company address. | The seller is always Nightify, not the organizer. |
| Purchase summary | Event, Location, Event date, Purchase date, then the Service, Quantity, Amount rows for the titles of the order. | It serves to identify the order; the amounts of the titles are not the subject of the receipt. |
| Service details | A table with Subject, VAT rate and Amount; the entry is Ticket issuance service fees. | The default rate is 22%, extracted from the amount paid; it is configurable by the platform. |
| Totals | Service fees, VAT, Receipt total. | The Receipt total matches the Service fees line of the fan’s summary. |
| Closing note | This document refers to the service fees applied to the order. Access tickets follow the fiscal documentation required by applicable law. |
What it is not
- It is not the invoice or the receipt of the ticket: the tax documentation of the access title (for example the ticket with the SIAE fiscal seal) remains the organizer’s responsibility, and the organizer answers customer requests about the ticket price.
- It does not include the pre-sale rights, which are an amount of yours, nor the absorbed fees, which are not paid by the fan.
What happens next
- The PDF is generated by the system asynchronously after the order is confirmed: the link appears in the Reservation detail only once the file is ready.
- The fan finds the same link in their own Reservation detail, in the Reservation summary section, even after the event.
Messages and errors
| Message | Why it appears | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Service fee receipt is not available. | The link is opened directly for an order that is not Confirmed, that has no fees charged to the fan, or whose PDF is not generated yet. | Check the status and the fees of the order; if the order was confirmed a moment ago, try again later. |
| The Service fee receipt row does not appear | The order is not confirmed, the fees are absorbed by the organizer, the order is free (No payment required) or the PDF is not generated yet. | No action: the receipt is not due or it will arrive. |
Special cases
- Absorbed fees. The fan pays no fees and receives no receipt; the amount held back from your revenue is not documented by this PDF.
- Refund. Nightify fees are always excluded from the refund: the order history shows Nightify fees excluded from the refund: … and the receipt stays valid for the amount paid.
- Invoice for the fees. There is no invoice request feature: the customer contacts Nightify support from the Contacts page with the reservation code and the billing details.
Rules and limits
- One receipt per order, only with fees charged to the fan and a Confirmed order.
- Downloading it from the console requires View organization reservation details; a Promoter can only download it for the orders of their own channel.
