The event dashboard in the Business app

From the Events tab open an event to see registrations, check-ins, issued access titles, interactions, views, the three conversion rates and the sales summary. Every metric with the real iPhone and Android labels, how the conversions are worked out, what is masked for the roles without permission and the error messages.

For each event the Nightify Business app offers a compact dashboard, useful on the night of the event to follow sales and entries from your phone. The numbers are the same as the dashboard of the website; some labels change between iPhone and Android and what you see depends on the permissions of your role.

At a glance

  • Where: Nightify Business app → Events tab → tap the event. The title is Event dashboard #… on iPhone and Event dashboard · ID … on Android.
  • Permissions: View event reservation metrics for the totals, the conversions and the summary (Administrator and Promoter); View event reservations for the Participants section (Administrator, Entries only, Promoter). Without the first permission the values are masked; without the second one the participants section shows an access denied message.
  • What you get: five counters, three conversions, the financial summary and the list of the attendees with a search.

Step by step in the Nightify Business app

  1. Open the list. Tap the Events tab. What you see: one row per event with image, name, date and time and, below, city and address; at the top the search field Search... (iPhone) / Search… (Android). Pull down to refresh the list and scroll to the bottom to load more events.
  2. Open the event. Tap the row. What you see: the title with the ID of the event and, on iPhone, the summary line Registrations (N) - Check-ins (entered/total) followed by date, time and venue separated by dots.
  3. Read the main cards. On iPhone: Event registrations, Event check-ins, Access types issued; on Android: Registrations, Check-ins, Accesses. They are, respectively, the valid reservations, the tickets scanned with a valid outcome and the issued tickets.
  4. Read interactions, views and conversions. Event interactions / Interactions counts the purchase journeys that were started; Event views / Views the openings of the event page. The conversions are Interaction conversion (registrations over interactions), View conversion (registrations over views, worked out only when the views are at least equal to the registrations) and Check-in conversion on iPhone / Check-in conversion on Android (entries over registrations). These cards appear only when the value is available.
  5. Read the financial summary. On iPhone the Sales summary section shows Bookings qty, Access titles qty, Fees and Amount; on Android Sales summary shows Bookings qty, Access titles qty, Fees and Amount. The section appears only if your role can see the metrics.
  6. Look an attendee up in the Participants section further down (see the dedicated article).
