Each event on Nightify belongs to an organization: it is the public profile of the organizer (reachable at nightify.me/organization/nickname), the team container with its roles and the person to whom the tax data and the IBAN for collections are registered. You can create multiple organizations with the same account, for example one for each venue or brand, and switch between them from the Organisations page.

At a glance

  • Where: Organizations page (nightify.me/business/organizations) → link Create new organizationAdd organization page. You can also get there from My account → block Manage your events (only present if your account is already an organizer), or by pressing Create event when you don't yet have an organization.
  • Permissions: none in particular: you need a Nightify account with a complete profile. Whoever creates the organization becomes Administrator.
  • What you get: the organization's console, a public nickname automatically generated from the name, and the ability to create the first event draft immediately afterwards.
  • Time: a few minutes; the tax data and IBAN are added later, from the Organizer tax settings page.

Before you start

  • Sign in with your Nightify account - the organizer account is not a separate account. If the profile is not complete or the mobile number is missing or not in international format, the page first sends you to the profile completion screen (and, if requested by the system, to verify the number with the OTP code); at the end you automatically return to creation.
  • Please have your public name, a short description, website, Facebook, and Instagram links ready, and a logo or cover image in JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, AVIF, HEIC, or HEIF format, no larger than 20 MB.

Step by step on the website

  1. Open the Organizations page. Go to nightify.me/business/organizations or, if your account is already an organizer, from My account open the Manage your events block (which, without organizations, shows You don't manage any organizations yet.). What you see: the heading Select organization with the list of organizations of which you are a member and, at the top right, the link Create new organization; if you don't have any it appears No organizations available.
  2. Start creation. Press Create new organization. What you see: the Add organization page with the form. If you arrived here by pressing Create event, once saving is complete, the draft of your first event will also be created.
  3. Fill in the Organization Name. It is the only mandatory field: it is the public name that appears on the organization's profile and in the event pages under Organized by. Maximum 255 characters.
  4. Add the organization description. Free text, without length limit, that tells who you are and what events you do; is shown on the public profile and used to complete the Set up your organizer profile step of the checklist.
  5. Enter the links. Website, Facebook Link and Instagram Link are optional: they must be complete and valid addresses (maximum 255 characters each); if you write the address without protocol it is saved with https.
  6. Load the image. Drag the file into the Drag the image here area or press Load image and choose the file. What you see: the preview of the image and, next to it, the button with the trash can icon Remove image to remove it before saving. It is the logo or cover of the public profile and the organizer card.
  7. Save. Press Add organization. If the name is empty, the warning The name field is mandatory. appears and the form is not sent. Result: the organization is created and you are taken to its console; if you started the creation from Create event, you will find yourself directly in the Event page step of the new draft.

What happens next

  • You become the Administrator of the organization and your account is marked as a business account: from this moment in My account the block Manage your events with the new organization appears.
  • The public Nickname is generated immediately from the name (just letters and numbers, with a progressive number at the end if that nickname is already used by another organization) and becomes part of the profile and console address. You can change this later from Organizer Settings.
  • The console opens with Your checklist (We help you plan successful events easily: here's where to start!) and the three steps Create an event, Set up your organizer profile and Add your bank account. The Start here button appears only next to the first step yet to be completed. The profile step is complete when the organization has a name, description and image; the banking one when in the tax settings there are the IBAN and, for a company, company name and VAT number or, for a person, name, surname and a valid tax code. The checklist disappears when all available steps for your role are complete.
  • If you submitted the form without the page's automatic process, the confirmation message is Organization added successfully.

Special cases

  • You want to create the organization starting from an event. Press Create event: the Organizations page opens in organization choice mode and the Create new organization link retains this mode, so after saving you go directly to the draft event.
  • You don't like the generated nickname. Open it from Organizer settings and change it in the Nickname field: only letters and numbers, unique among all organizations.
  • You want to use the SIAE ticket office. To publish an event with SIAE ticket office you need the complete tax profile in Organizer tax settings and the verified telephone number on your profile: the publication verification reminds you of this with the Complete profile and number verification buttons.

Rules and limits

  • The name is mandatory (maximum 255 characters); description, link and image are optional.
  • Links are only accepted as valid URLs of up to 255 characters and are saved with https.
  • There is no organization approval phase: you can use the console immediately. The events, however, go online only after verification by Nightify.
  • You can create multiple organizations with the same account and have different roles in each.
