Push notifications alert you in real time about confirmations, replies and waiting-list notices. The Messages tab collects conversations with support and organizers and has the notification bell in its top bar.

Enable notifications

  1. Phone permission. On iPhone it is requested after sign-in; on Android shortly after opening Home. If you decline, the app does not ask again: re-enable it in system settings (iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Nightify; Android: Settings → Apps → Nightify → Notifications).
  2. Category preferences. Open ProfileNotification Settings (Manage email and push notifications by category). What you see: Notification settings, with two lists, first Push then Email, each with a switch per category (Reservation notifications, Message notifications, Event creation notifications, Organization and team notifications, and other categories available to your account). Categories you cannot change have a disabled, dimmed switch.
  3. Save. Tap Save. Confirmation: Notification settings updated successfully.

Read notifications

  1. Open Messages and tap the bell at the top (Open notifications). What you see: My notifications; with no notices, No notifications at the moment appears. The badge on the app icon and Messages tab shows unread items (99+ above 99).
  2. Tap a notification for Notification details; from Notification actions, use Mark all as read. Tapping a push notification on your phone opens its details directly.

Use messages

  1. In Messages, search for a conversation, filter by type or start a new chat (on Android: All types and New chat; these labels are in English on iPhone).
  2. Open a conversation, type in Write a reply, attach at most one image (Android: Image attached / Attachment removed), and send using the paper-plane icon. Load previous shows older messages.
  3. An Unsent message has a Try again button; conversation details show Type and Last access.
  4. From an event, Contact organizer opens the organization’s chat directly.
