Official resale puts your ticket back on sale through the fiscal ticketing system connected to Nightify: no private chats and no risk of fake tickets for the buyer. While it is on sale the ticket cannot be used to get in; as long as nobody buys it you can withdraw it and use it again.

At a glance

  • Where: website: Manage tickets section of the Reservation detail; app: Ticket resale section.
  • When it is available: events with fiscal ticketing and resale enabled by Nightify (normally events with at least 5,000 seats), Confirmed reservation, ticket with a fiscal seal, not yet used at the entrance, with no refunds or name changes in progress.
  • Price and conditions: they are managed by the fiscal ticketing system; Nightify does not set a resale price.
  • Immediate effect: the ticket’s QR is rejected at the entrance as long as the resale is active.

Step by step on the website

  1. Open the Reservation detail and scroll to Manage tickets (For each eligible ticket you can manage resale or request a ticket-holder name change.).
  2. Find the ticket. Each row (Ticket #… or the ticket name, with sector, row and seat) shows the Resale available badge and a note reminding you that the ticket will be made available according to the event’s rules.
  3. List it for resale. Press List for resale and confirm Do you want to list this ticket for resale? in the browser window.
  4. Check the status. Confirmation: Ticket listed for resale.; the badge becomes Listed and Ticket listed for resale appears in the Reservation history.

Step by step in the app

  1. Open the reservation from the Reservations tab and scroll to Ticket resale (Put eligible tickets back on sale or remove them before they are bought by someone else.).
  2. On the Ticket N row (with the Seal … indication and the last digits of the fiscal seal) in the Eligible status, tap Put on sale.
  3. Confirm in the Put this ticket on sale? alert with Put on sale. Confirmation: Ticket is now on sale; the status changes to On sale.

What happens next

  • The ticket is offered through the ticketing system to whoever books the same seat or ticket. As long as nobody buys it you can cancel the resale.
  • When it is bought the badge on the website becomes Sold and the history records Ticket sold; in the app the row disappears from the section. A sold ticket can no longer be refunded or used.
  • If Resale requires review appears (Resales to review (N) badge and Administrative review required note), the ticketing system did not confirm the operation: support checks it; do not repeat it and do not count on the ticket until it is resolved.

Rules and limits

  • You can only act on the tickets of your own reservations; a second submission on the same ticket does not create a second resale.
  • A ticket with an active resale or already sold cannot be refunded.
  • Nightify does not record an amount for the resale: the financial outcome follows the rules of the event’s ticketing system.
