At the entrance the staff scans the QR of every access title with the Nightify Business app. The scan records the entry, reports it to the ticketing system and invalidates the QR: the same code cannot be reused.
At a glance
- Where to find the QR: app: Accreditation details in the reservation detail; website: same section, if the ticket type allows the QR on the website, otherwise the To view the QR code download the Nightify app block; alternatively the PDF or the wallet pass.
- When it is valid: Confirmed reservation, active ticket, not listed for resale, with no refund or name change in progress, event not yet over.
- With Payment at the entrance there is no QR: you pay on site and the organizer checks you in.
Before you arrive
- Open the reservation once with an active connection: the QR is an image loaded from the server. To be on the safe side, save the passes to the wallet or the PDF, which also work without a network.
- For named tickets bring an ID: the organizer may ask that the name matches.
Step by step in the app
- Open the Reservations tab and tap the reservation. What you see: the screen brightness goes up to maximum by itself if the reservation has a QR.
- Scroll to Accreditation details: there is one QR for each access title, with the participant’s name.
- Show the QR to the staff; for several tickets swipe from one QR to the next. Screenshots and screen recordings of this screen come out blacked out.
Step by step on the website
- Open the Reservation detail and, in Accreditation details, tap the QR thumbnail: it opens full size in the View QR Code window.
- If the QR is not provided on the website for that ticket type, use the app, the PDF or the wallet.

Special cases
- Ticket listed for resale: as long as it is Listed the QR is rejected; cancel the resale before going to the event.
- Several people on the same reservation: each person gets in with the QR of their own ticket; the PDF contains all the tickets, forward each person the page that belongs to them or use the name change.
- The QR does not appear in the app: the event is already over, the ticket is disabled or the reservation is not confirmed.
Rules and limits
- The QR is linked to your order: do not publish it and do not send it to anyone who is not supposed to get in.
- Every scan records the date, the operator and the network address: the organizer finds it in their entries report.
